Wesley is a member of an Aviation Explorer Post at Chicago Executive Airport. As a high school project, Wesley created Wings Over Water: How Chicago Shaped the Outcome of WWII. This video tribute highlights the critical role Chicago played in Naval Aviation during WWII. His  outstanding  work was recognized by his winning a competition at the school, city, and regional levels and progressing to the state finals.
